Age limit: Candidates age should be 50 years for S.No-01 & 02, between 18-30 years for S.No-03 to 08 as on 28-09-2015. Age relaxation is applicable up to 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years of EBC (MBC)/ BC and 03 years for all categories of Female Candidates.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Medical qualification as included in schedule I & II of MCI Act, Recognized P.G qualification of MD/ MS in specialization concerned or allied Surgical/ Medical specialty & M. Ch. for Surgical Super-specialities and D.M. for Medical Super specialities, Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised University/ Board for S.No-03 & 06, M. A. with specialized training/Ph.D. in psychology/ or any other equivalent qualification for S.No-04, First Class Diploma in Electronics/Bio-Medical Engineering from a recognized Institute/ Polytech. with two years experience in a Medical Institution or reputed organization for S.No-05, 8th Standard pass from a recognised School/ Board for S.No-07, B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques or equivalent from recognised University/ Institution for S.No-08.

Selection Process: Selection will be based on interview.

Application Fee: Candidates should have to pay Rs.500/- and Rs. 125/- for SC/ ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft, in favor of Director, IGIMS, Patna payable at Patna.
